Description
If you hear thunder on a day with clear skies, find cover as though it was a storm, as the bazelgeuse is likely close by. Relentless, fierce, and brutal, while this creature lacks the cunning and avarice of its chromatic cousins, it makes up for it many times over in sheer destructive force.
Villages in the northern lands of the Fold know to either keep their houses cheap and easy to rebuild, or to line the roofs with thick steel. The bazelgeuse enjoys little more than wonton destruction, and will gladly break off from a hunt to destroy a settlement, encampment or outpost that catches its eyes. While a chromatic dragon may be placated by the offering of gold or sacrifice, the only offering a bazelgeuse will take is a work of art of great size and expertise to destroy, and this will only by peace so long.
