Magic Resistance. The avacato has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Innate Spellcasting. The avacato's innate spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 13). It can innately cast the following spells requiring no material components.

Druid Craft- (Range 30 feet, range instantiations) Whispering to the spirits of nature, you create one of the following effects within range:
You create a tiny, harmless sensory effect that predicts what the weather will be at your location for the next 24 hours. The effect might manifest as a golden orb for clear skies, a cloud for rain, falling snowflakes for snow, and so on. This effect persists for 1 round.
You instantly make a flower blossom, a seed pod open, or a leaf bud bloom.
You create an instantaneous, harmless sensory effect, such as falling leaves, a puff of wind, the sound of a small animal, or the faint odor of skunk. The effect must fit in a 5-foot cube.
You instantly light or snuff out a candle, a torch, or a small campfire.

Thunderclap- You create a burst of thunderous sound that can be heard up to 100 feet away. Each creature within range, other than you, must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 1d6 thunder damage. (It comes out as a thunderous meow.)

The spell’s damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6).

Goodberry- (1 per day) Up to ten berries appear in your hand and are infused with magic for the duration. A creature can use its action to eat one berry. Eating a berry restores 1 hit point, and the berry provides enough nourishment to sustain a creature for one day.

The berries lose their potency if they have not been consumed within 24 hours of the casting of this spell.

Actions

Scratch. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit 2 (1d4 +2) slashing damage.

Edible Armor (Recharges after short or long rest). The avacato grows an outer shell of fresh fruit. Until it sheds it's shell it gains a +2 bonus to AC, regenerates 1 hp at the end of each of its turns and has resistance to piercing and slashing damage. While in the shell, the avacato is blinded, its speed is 0 and can't increase, it has disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws, it can't take reactions, and the only action it can take is a bonus action to shed its shell.

Additionally, any creature that consumes the outer shell of fresh fruit once it has been shed regains 5 (2d4) hit points.

Description

The avacato fruit grows on avocato trees, in warmer climates. When the fruit is ripe the avacato inside the fruit will awaken and begin shaking the fruit loose from the branches. The fruit protects the avacato inside from the fall, and then the avacato sheds the fruit and consumes it.

The avacato is considered the larvae stage of the avacato's lifespan and when it is ready it will plant itself. This allows the avocato to eventually sprout and grow into an avacato tree. An avocato tree is able to communicate with its fruit children, nurturing them until they are able to leave the safety of its branches.
