Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 1 piercing damage.
Rage. The battle pug can fight with primal ferocity. On its turn, it can enter a rage as a bonus action.
While raging, the battle pug swells in size from Tiny to Medium. The battle pug also gains the following benefits if it isn't wearing barding:
- Advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.
- Resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
The battle pug's rage lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if it is knocked unconscious or if its turn ends and it hasn't attacked a hostile creature since its last turn or taken damage since then. It can also end its rage on its turn as a bonus action.
Once the battle pug has raged twice, it must finish a long rest before it can rage again.
Raging Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 11 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Noxious Gas. If the battle pug drops to one hit point or lower, it immediately releases a cloud of noxious gas as a means of final defense. The battle pug releases a 20-foot-radious Sphere of poisonous, yellow-green fog centered on itself. It lasts for the Duration of up to 10 minutes or until strong wind disperses the fog, ending the spell. When a creature enters the spell’s area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, that creature must make a Constitution saving throw. The creature takes 1d12 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
