Divine Armor: The archon has resistance to all physical damage (bludgeoning, piercing, slashing) even that caused by magical weapons.
Innate Spellcasting: The archon’s spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 16, +7 to hit with spell attacks). The archon can innately cast the following spells as a bonus action, requiring only verbal components:
- At will: daylight, light, sacred flame, radiant word
Light Touched: The archon sheds light as if affected by the light cantrip, creating bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. It is immune to fire and radiant damage.
Magic Resistance: The archon has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Angelic Weapons: The archon's weapon attacks are magical. When the archon hits with any weapon, the weapon deals an extra 4d8 radiant damage (included in the attack). It is able to extend the chain of its flail up to 45 feet to make multiple attacks.
Multi-Attack: The archon may attack two times per turn with its flail.
Flail. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 45 ft., 1 target. Hit: +7 [roll]4d8+4[/roll] piercing and [roll]4d8[/roll] radiant damage.
Warding Flare. As a reaction, the Archon can interpose divine light between itself and an attacking enemy. When attacked by a creature within 30 feet of it that it can see, it can use its reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll, causing light to flare before the attacker. It may use this reaction 2 times per day.
Description
The archon appears as a shiny, bronze skinned human or elf. Wings of red and yellow flames protrude from it's back. It wields a mace emblazoned with the Eye of Luminara, which serves as both a weapon and a spellcasting focus. It also wields a flail, brimming with radiant energy. It exudes an aura of warm light.
