Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Flyby. The dragon doesn't provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemy's reach.
Multiattack. The dragon can use its Frightful Presence. It then makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (2d10 + 10) piercing damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d6 + 10) slashing damage.
Frightful Presence. Each creature of the dragon's choice that is within 120 feet of the dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 21 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the dragon's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.
Wing Weapons (Recharge 5–6). The dragon instead of using a breath weapon, align it's wings in different ways to make use of it's unique wings to channel the energy normally used for a breath weapon in unique ways such as :
Wing Claw. The dragon aligns its wings so that its exhaust-like wingtips are facing the front of the dragon. In this form, the wings are able to swipe like a massive claw, slam down into the ground as if it’s a giant palm, dealing 17 (2d6 + 10) slashing damage and Valstrax can ignite the tips of its wings to deal an additional 14 (4d6) fire damage.
Wing Cannon. The dragon aligns its wings so that its exhaust-like wingtips are facing the front of the dragon. In this form, the wings are able to condense its draconic energy into explosive homing projectiles that it will fire out of its six appendages, each projectile dealing 14 (4d6) force damage to its target(s) after readying into a stance.
Trident Spear Wing. After the dragon has used it's Thrust Attack action, ir can add one of two more moves to this attack, ending it with a spin while the blade is still outstretched, causing each creature within 15 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 25 Dexterity saving throw or take17 (2d6 + 10) slashing damage, have as much on a successful save. Or sending forth its other spear wing after retracting the first, causing one creature within 15 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 25 Dexterity saving throw or take17 (2d6 + 10) piercing damage.
The dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Detect. The dragon makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.
Thrust Attack (Costs 2 Actions). The dragon rears back one of its wings before connecting it into a jagged spear-like formation and thrusting it up to it's flying speed towards one creature it can see. Each creature within 15 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 25 Dexterity saving throw or take 17 (2d6 + 10) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone.
Around the World (Costs 3 Actions). The dragon opens its chest intake to the fullest, sucking in as much air as possible before dashing off and up with a small blast and then rocketing off into the horizon, here it will become enveloped with crimson dragon energy, becoming the red comet, after circling behind it's target(s), Valstrax will do a loop in the air as it breaks the sound barrier that deafens creatures that can hear it with in 300 miles unless it succeeds a DC 20 Constitution saving throw, before hurtling itself down as a fiery ball of deadly draconic energy, dealing 28(8d6) fire damage and 28(8d6) force damage. Afterwards, it will be tuckered out for a short period of time, giving attacks against it advantage until the end of the dragon's next turn.
Description
Valstrax is a slender dragon covered in gleaming silver scales. Its most notable feature is its wings, which have fused into a trident-like structure, each segment ending in an opening designed to expel elemental draconic energy created by it's draconis fundamentum. Its back is lined with fin-like projections. Its head has a small crest and its eyes are blue. Its chest has three horizontal gaps that are used to take in and pressurize air as it is channeled through it's draconis fundamentum.
Valstrax is a largely nomadic type of dragon and can be found in a wide range of environments, though it has not been spotted in volcanic environments.
Valstrax are quite calm when not disturbed, but will turn extremely aggressive if they feel threatened in anyway. No matter the foe, Valstrax have a variety of ways of fighting off threats. This is the reason why it is sometimes called the Silver Wing of the Evil Stars or Sky Comet Dragons. Though Valstrax are quite calm in the sky, they occasionally will mistakenly crash into objects in the air from their shocking flying speeds.
