Red panda

red pandas also known as fire ferrets are reddish orange racoon looking creatures with fluffy white ringed tails who live in the tropical rainforest of warm regions, though they look like racoons experts have found out that they actually are closer related to weasels. their diet consists of mainly bamboo but also fruit and sometimes even eggs and bugs. red pandas are skilled climbers and quite playful. they spend most of their time in trees eating and sleeping not need to step foot on soil they also like to lay on branches and sunbathe it can get a bit chilly so they wrap themselves in their fluffy tails. they are mostly active at dawn and dusk but can be active any time of day. they are solitary and males mark their territory with strong odor, like skunks they can unleash the smell when threatened or to fend off predator's if that does not work they can stand on their hind legs and scratch with their front claws. Red pandas make great companion and are great for lightening the mood some wizards even take them as familiars
