Description

Mabaris are impressive hounds designed by human wizards for their intense loyalty tempered by an understanding few mundane dogs every achieve. Mabari can be trained as guard dogs, hunting dogs, and even service animals to the infirm, but their original purpose is as war dogs. Halflings and other Small humanoids ride them as mounts.

Mabari mature slightly slower and live significantly longer than other dog breeds of similar size, reaching adulthood in 3-4 years and living as long as 30 years.
