Description
Avatars of Raxivort. When a xvart gifts a great treasure to Raxivort, it is blessed with the power of a warlock. After that, if it gives Raxivort a legendary item, it is blessed with much more. Not only does it increase it's spellcasting powers (level 9 warlock), it is given a very special trait: medium height. It grows to five feet tall, and is henceforth recognized as an extension of Raxivort himself. The new avatar completely believes in this lie, and then continue forth as if their word is the word of their god. It still recognizes Raxivort as the true god and gives him treasures, but the avatar can think for itself. An avatar is just as greedy as its maker, and it will stop at nothing to steal even more treasures for itself.
Self-hatred. Deep down the avatar knows it is not truly Raxivort. It has to admit this anytime Raxivort appears to take his usual tithe. Whenever it is forced to see it's imperfect image in a mirror, it suffers a mental shock and temporarily disconnects from Raxivort's power. Also, while it loves the adoration of xvarts, it abhors the existence of xvart warlocks. Warlocks reminds the avatar of where it came from, and they are also competitors for Raxivort's attention.
