Traits

Shapechanger.  The werewolf can use its action to polymorph into a wolf-humanoid hybrid or into a wolf, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Its statistics in it's wolf forms vary. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

Keen Hearing and Smell. The werewolf is infused with the essence of the wolf giving them the sight and hearing of the beast, therefore they have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks and Intelligence (Investigation) checks.

Darkvision. Being a werewolf grants you the ability to see during the night as if it were daylight out. You can see in dim light within in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 ft. of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Pack Tactics. The werewolf has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the werewolf's allies is within 5 ft. of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Actions

Multiattack. The werewolf makes two attacks: two with its weapons (humanoid form). One with its bite and one with its claws or two with it's claws (hybrid form). The werewolf can choose to bite twice (wolf form).

Bite (Wolf or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 2) piercing damage. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with werewolf lycanthropy. The target being bitten is considered grappled until the werewolf biting them chooses to let go or they succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw.

Claws. (Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) slashing damage.

Description

A werewolf is a savage predator that can appear as a humanoid, as a wolf, or in a terrifying hybrid form—a furred and well-muscled humanoid body topped by a ravening wolf’s head. If the werewolf you happen upon is a Beta then look alive for where there is one there is many. They tend to be more subordinate than typical werewolves, so if you run into a Beta expect it's Alpha to be close behind.
