Pack Tactics. The hyena has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the hyena's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
Core. Beta-Models can only be destroyed by slashing/piercing the core located inside their body. Cutting a limb off has no effect, as it will regrow in seconds depending on the wound. The core can be located anywhere in the body (DMs Discretion) and once it is destroyed, the Beta-Model will lose it's form and become a pile off ooze.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d6) piercing damage.
Slash. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5ft., up to two targets if in range. Hit: 4 (1d8) slashing damage.
Absorb. If the Beta model has eyes on any small projectile flying towards it (e.g. bullet, arrow) it can activate absorb. The projectile will sink into the Beta-Models body and disintegrate rapidly. The will take zero damage.
Description
Beta models can appear as any beast type creature, the most common being a wolf. When killed, they become a pile a pale red ooze relative to the size of there body. They can only be distinguished with a passive perception of at least 16
