Traits

Adamantine Hull. Critical hits count as regular attacks when attacking the Vonindod.

Immutable Form. The Vonindod is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.

Piloted. The Vonindod's wisdom, intelligence, and charisma stats are the same as its pilot.

Legendary Resistance (3/day). If the Vonindod would fail a saving throw, it can choose to succeed it instead.

Actions

Multiattack. The Vonindod makes two fist attacks and one harpoon attack.

Fist. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 10 ft., Hit: 36 (4d12+10) bludgeoning damage.

Harpoon. Ranged Weapon Attack:  +15 to hit, range 250/500 ft., Hit: 22 (2d12+10) piercing damage. On hit, use Reel at the start of every subsequent turn.

Reel. Draw one target attached by your harpoon up to 250 feet closer.

Death Ray (Must Charge First). One creature within 300 feet of the Vonindod must succeed on a DC 29 Constitution saving throw or take 130 (20d12) force damage, taking half as much on a success. If the damage reduces the creature to 0 hit point, its body is disintegrated. A dragon targeted by this effect has disadvantage on the save and cannot use its legendary actions (if it has any) on a failed save.

Reactions

Dragonpiercer: If a dragon attempts to move out of range, Make a Harpoon attack. If the attack succeeds, the dragon's movement speed is reduced to 0ft until the start of its next turn.

Legendary Actions

The Vonindod can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. The Vonindod regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Punch. Make a fist attack.

Relocate. Move your movement speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

Charge (Costs 3 actions). Use Death Ray when you next take an action. The Vonindod remains inactive for its next turn.
