Description
The crocolith is the apex predator of the swamp. Wily beasts that live for hundreds of years, they rend their prey into pieces with their mighty jaws and pound them apart with their hypertrophied forearms. Once their hunger is sated, they rest just beneath the surface of the water, almost indistinguishable from the rest of the swamp.
Such is the viciously territorial nature of these beasts, that they will not suffer any threat to their domain from another of their kind. The meet rarely to mate and as often as not they will slay each other in the process.
