Ban Cordiz is a free lance assassin but is mainly perceived as an agent for the Zhentarim. In reality he is nominal member of the Harpers and uses his cover as a Zhentarim agent to sow discord within the Black Network and to manipulate others to aid him in misdirecting Zhentarim operations. In addition to his real name Cordiz is also known as the Dark Blade and in the city of Loudwater he takes on the identity of a local noble named Lord Julius who has close contacts to the High Lord of the city who is a Zhentarim puppet so that he can keep close watch on the criminal organizations operations. Cordiz has a strong personal code in regards who he will contract to assassinate.
Description
Cordiz prefers to assassinate his targets up close. He considers using a ranged weapon as cowardly and is part of his personal quirk. He wants to make sure that his target gets the point. This means that Cordiz has to be sure he can finish off his victim quickly and then get out of any trouble he may have gotten himself into.
If an assassination attempt or a fight starts to go against him he will use his skills to disengage and retreat to safety to resume the fight another day after healing up and replenishing his supplies of poison and potions of extra healing he always has on hand.
