Keen Hearing and Sight. The swarm has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or sight.
Swarm. The swarm can occupy another creature's space and vice versa, and the swarm can move through any opening large enough for a Tiny Vamster. The swarm can't regain hit points or gain temporary hit points.
Voraciously Hungry. If the swarm hits a creature with a melee attack, the swarm flies into a biting frenzy and has advantage on the next attack roll against that creature.
Bites. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 0 ft., one creature in the swarm's space. Hit: 2 (1d4) piercing damage plus 2 (1d4) necrotic damage, or 1 piercing damage plus 1 necrotic damage if the swarm has half of its hit points or fewer. The target's hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken. The reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0.
Description
“You heard right, vamster it is!” – Those were the last documented words of this remarkable creature’s discoverer, before being turned into an empty husk by a swarm of said vamsters. As cuddly as it may seem at first sight, the vamster is no critter to frivolously mess around with: Not undead, still an inexplicable vampiric hunger is running through its veins. Usually acting in large packs, this sinister creature lives and travels underground by digging long tunnels through soil and even rock at an incredibly high speed. It only emerges and shows off its flight skills to attack or to feed on prey too large for their underworldly dwellings. The best strategy to escape from a frenzied swarm of vamsters is to drop a bait and hope for the best.
