Traits

Berserk. Bog Luck can enter a frenzied rage after taking damage equal to half of his maximum hit points. While Berserk Bog Luck attacks ferociously gaining advantage on each attack and if successful automatically does critical strike damage. Any attack made on Bog Luck while he is Berserk is at advantage. Bog Luck also becomes vulnerable to of magical damage from spell attacks while he is Berserk.

Vorpal Decapitation. Bog Luck wields a rare Vorpal Sword. When Bog Luck attacks a creature that has at least one head with this weapon and rolls a 20 on the attack roll, Bog Luck will cut off one of the creature's heads. The creature dies if it can't survive without the lost head. A creature is immune to this effect if it is immune to slashing damage, doesn't have or need a head, has legendary actions, or the GM decides that the creature is too big for its head to be cut off with this weapon. Such a creature instead takes an extra 6d8 slashing damage from the hit.

Grappling Shot. When Bog Luck attacks with his crossbow he may engage the grappling shot. On a successful hit with this ability the target is grappled and pulled up to 30 feet towards Bog Luck. A creature that is grappled this way may attempt to break the grapple by succeeding in a strength or athletics check of DC 19. If the grappled creature is able to break free from the grapple they suffer 6 (2d6) slashing damage in doing so.

Actions

Multiattack. Bog Luck makes three Greatsword attacks. If he has a shortsword drawn, he can also make three shortsword attacks instead.

Vorpal Greatsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d6 + 8) slashing damage.

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) piercing damage.

Heavy Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 100/400 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 3) piercing damage.

Reactions

Sentinel. Bog Luck has mastered techniques to take advantage of every drop in any enemy's guard, gaining the following benefits: When Bog Luck hits a creature with an opportunity attack, the creature's speed becomes 0

Additionally

  • Creatures provoke opportunity attacks from Bog Luck even if they take the Disengage action before leaving your reach.
  • When a creature within 5 feet of Bog Luck makes an attack against a target other than Bog Luck (and that target doesn't have this feat), Bog Luck can use his reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the attacking creature.

Description

Bog Luck owned a roadhouse north of Waterdeep on a highly trafficked caravan road - the High Road. He used this position to smuggle the Cult's goods away from the caravans that stopped at his place. The delivered goods were shipped further by some lizardfolk via a tunnel.
