Antimagic Susceptibility. The deck is incapacitated while in the area of an antimagic field. If targeted by dispel magic, the deck must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against the caster's spell save DC or fall unconscious for 1 minute.
False Appearance. While the deck remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal deck of cards. It can appear scattered or assembled or anywhere in-between, and so it can be shuffled however it chooses.
Swarm. The deck can occupy another creature's space and vice versa, and the deck can move through any opening large enough for a Tiny playing card. The deck can't regain hit points or gain temporary hit points.
Slice. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 0 ft., one target in the swarm's space. Hit: 7 (2d6) slashing damage, or 3 (1d6) slashing damage if the swarm has half of its hit points or fewer.
Description
Often constructed to look like a deck of many things, a deck of cutting is a deck of cards, such as playing cards or tarot cards, that has been enchanted with sharpened edges and the ability to fly around like a swarm of bugs.
The deck's appearance makes it ideal for carrying out assassinations as well as cheating at card games. If any cards in a deck are scattered across a long distance, the lost cards become inanimate until returned to the deck.
Constructed Nature. An animated object doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
An animated object reduced to 0 hit points loses its animating magic. It becomes inanimate, and it is too damaged to be of much use or value to anyone.
