Innate Spellcasting. The fox's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma. It can cast the following spells (spell save DC 14), requiring no material components:

At will: blink, silent image

3/day: invisibility, mirror image, misty step

1/day: blur, see invisibility, thunder step

Keen Hearing and Smell. The fox has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

Magic Resistance. The fox has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Actions

Multiattack. The fox makes two bite attacks. It can cast a spell in place of one attack.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) piercing damage.

Teleport (Recharge 4–6). The fox magically teleports, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 40 feet to an unoccupied space it can see. Before or after teleporting, the fox can make one bite attack or cast a spell.

Description

A blink fox is a majestic fox that is obviously fey. It has luminescent fur which can appear ethereal and ghostly. Its long fur seems to flow with the wind, colorful petals and leaves are drawn to the fox, which it plays with nonchalantly.

Crafty Canid. The blink fox is a tricky fey, able to slip in and out of the Ethereal Plane with ease. They enjoy games, and use their teleportation to play with other creatures. Sometimes these games are harmless like hide and seek, but a blink fox can adapt and hunt creatures that might turn violent.

Blink foxes despise displacer beasts as much as blink dogs do, but blink foxes are able to mimic their nemesis' talent for blurring their location. Their cunning, measured and tactical approach in addition to their abilities means that a blink fox is often able to best a displacer beast.

Revitalized Forests. Often found in dying forests, trees begin to rot and decay faster, shedding dead wood to allow the healthy core to survive or decomposing completely to nourish the earth.

A month after a blink fox has passed through a decaying wood, new life springs forth and the area often becomes more lush and wild than it ever was before.
