Multiattack. The Awktopot makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its tentacles.
Rows of Suckers. The tentacles are lined with two rows of suckers which attach to anything that touches them. A Medium or smaller creature adhered to the swarm is also grappled by it (escape DC 13).
Tentacle. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) bludgeoning damage plus 4 (1d8) piercing damage. If the target is Medium or smaller, it is grappled (escape DC 13) and restrained until the grapple ends. The Awktopot has two sets of 4 tentacles, each set can grapple one target.
Tentacle Slam. The Awktopot slams creatures grappled by it into each other or a solid surface. Each creature must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or take 10 (2d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage and be stunned until the end of the Awktopot’s next turn. On a successful save, the target takes half the bludgeoning damage and isn't stunned.
Ten Tackles. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit 37 (10d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage, or 19 (5d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage if the swarm has half of its hit points or fewer.
Splash.
If Awktopot takes damage it splashes boiling water from it’s pot, scalding for 1d6 +3 fire dmg.
Description
The Awktopot is a bit of a mystery. Perhaps a strange experiment of a wizard or other curious sort or a maybe the failed result of a magical gourmand, maybe even the famed G’orms’uhn Ram S’ai, this strange tentacled creature spawns new ones in suitably warm and moist environments. They often take residence in unwatched cooking pots and have been a nasty surprise to many a chef and tavernkeep.
