Lair and Lair Actions

Usually found in volcanoes, an Aggroths lair consists of piles of bones. As well as obsidian tools resembling hammer and pickaxes.

Lair Actions

On initiative count 3 (losing initiative ties), the Aggroth takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; the Aggroth can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:

  • All adventurers catch fire for about 1min
  • The Aggroth encases itself in a layer of obsidian.

Regional Effects

The region containing a legendary Aggroths’s lair is either on fire or extremely hot, which creates one or more of the following effects:

  • People will catch fire often.
  • People will become overheated and dehydrated quickly.

If the Aggroth dies, these effects fade over the course of 1 day.
