If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be pushed up to 10 feet away and knocked prone. If the Lynel makes a weapon attack, it gains one extra damage die.

Territorial. The Lynel has expansive knowledge about its territory and so ignores difficult terrain.

Reckless. At the start of its turn, the Lynel can gain advantage on all melee weapon attack rolls it makes during that turn, but attack rolls against it have advantage until the start of its next turn.

Innate spellcasting. The Lynel can cast Fireball Without components as an action. The Lynel has five slots and can use a bonus action to regain 1d4 + 1 charges. It can also cast an enhanced Misty Step with a range of 60 Ft as a bonus action on its turn. This Lynel can also cast Circle of death without components as an action. It has 2 slots and can use a bonus action to add 1d4 - 1 charges - with the chance to lose a charge.

Description

Lynels are highly territorial, solitary creatures that appear like a cross between a lion and centaur in anatomy. They are highly intelligent creatures, forging their own savage weapons and armour. This Lynel, in particular, is more powerful than other Lynels - Infected by a deep evil that manifests as swirling purple energy around the Lynel.
