Infectious. If a humanoid slain by this monster rises 24 hours later as a zommelon under the Master's control, unless the humanoid is restored to life or its body is destroyed. If the monster is destroyed it leaks a fluid that acts as an acid that can cure zommelons back into their former selves.

Description

When humanoids consume the melon blight they go into a metamorphic melon that turns them into a zommelon. Their skin turns a pale green and striped like watermelon's all nonmagical weapons become melonified as well. Zommelons all obey the Master without hesitation.
