Hexblade. Vanh is bonded to a magic weapon, for which he uses his Charisma modifier for his attack and damage rolls. Vanh can use his bonus action to teleport his bonded weapon into a free hand, or a bonus action to temporarily dismiss the bonded weapon into a pocket dimension.
Hexblade's Curse. As a bonus action, Vanh can place his Hexblade's curse on a creature that he can see within 60 feet of him. While cursed, a creature takes 4 (1d6) additional force damage from Vanh's attacks made with his hexblade.
Spellcasting. Vanh is a 9th level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Charisma (+9 to hit with spell attacks, spell save DC 17). He regains his expended spell slots when he finishes a short or long rest. He knows the following warlock spells:
Cantrips (at will): eldritch blast (2 blasts), prestidigitation, message
5th level (3 slots): armor of agathys, banishment, bestow curse, dimension door, dispel magic, hold monster, major image (NOTE: he doesn't have counterspell)
Multiattack. Vanh makes two hexblade attacks.
Hexblade. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d8 + 5) slashing damage. The weapon deals an additional 4 (1d6) force damage if the target is currently affected by Hex Blade's Curse.
Cold Breath (Recharge 5-6). Vanh exhales fire in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 17 (5d6) cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Parry. Vanh adds 3 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit him. To do so, Vanh must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.
