Arcane Augmentation
You have a limited well of Arcana points that you can draw on to enhance yourself in various ways. Once you expend all available Arcana points, you must finish a long rest to replenish them all or take a short rest to regain a number of Arcana points equal to your proficiency bonus.
Your character's base Arcana points will always be 4 x your character level.
Amplify: When you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack from an Arcane weapon, you can expend one Arcana point to deal Arcane damage to the target, in addition to the weapon’s damage. The extra damage is 2d8 for the first Arcana point used, plus 1d8 for each arcana spent beyond the first, to a maximum of 5d8.
Soothing Shot: When you hit a target with a ranged weapon attack from an Arcane weapon, you can expend 1 Arcana point to instead do 1d8 x your proficiency bonus in healing to the target. If you are within 5ft of the target, and the target does not resist your attempt to heal, then you automatically hit and heal the target.
Concussive Blast: When you hit a target with a ranged weapon attack from an Arcane weapon, in addition to your normal weapon damage, you can expend 1 Arcana point to attempt to stun the target. If the target succeeds a Dex saving throw equal to 10 + your Dex + your proficiency bonus they are simply knocked prone, otherwise they have the stunned condition until the end of their next turn.
Switchblade. Melee Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 2 (1d6 -1) [slashing] damage.
Arcane Revolver. RangedWeapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 40/120 ft., 1 target. Hit: 11 (2d8 + 3) [piercing] damage. Reload after 3 shots, standard action.
Boomstick: On your turn, you can expend 2 Arcana points as a standard action to temporarily change your revolver into an arcane shotgun and release an arcane blast.
- Range: Self, Area: 15-foot cone
- Deals 1d8 x your proficiency bonus in arcane damage. Enemies must make a Dex saving throw equal to 10 + Dex + your proficiency bonus to half the damage.
- You designate a number of targets equal to your proficiency bonus that can ignore the effects of this blast.
- You declare if this is a damaging or healing blast.
Arcane Arsenal
As a bonus action, you can summon an arcane revolver. It requires no ammunition but does require a standard action to reload.
Steady Aim
As a bonus action, you give yourself advantage on your next attack roll on the current turn. You can use this bonus action only if you haven’t moved during this turn, and after you use the bonus action, your speed is 0 until the end of the current turn.
Description
This is actually just a class I made up for my own campaign setting. It's still a work in progress. If you want to adjust aspects of it, go for it.
