Summon Armada Machine. On initiative count 20, bishop can summon a small construct to an unoccupied space within 30 ft of him. The construct has AC 10, 20 hit points, and a movement speed of 0 ft. If a creature moves within 10 ft of the construct, it can make a ranged weapon attack (+7 to hit) against that creature. On a hit, the creature takes 1d10 lightning damage.
Innate Spellcasting. Bishop's spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 25). He can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: hellish rebuke, magic missile
Retribution. Bishop innately knows the hellish rebuke spell. When bishop casts the spell, it deals necrotic damage and the target must make an Intelligence saving throw.
Intuition. Up to three times per round, if a creature makes a ranged spell attack against Bishop, he can cast magic missile targeting the creature.
Magic Resistance. Bishop has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Galvanic Staff. Bishop makes a ranged spell attack against one creature within 300 ft of him. On a hit, the target and allies within 5 ft take 4d8 lightning damage.
Witch Hunter. Up to three times per round, if bishop is targeted by a spell, he can make a ranged spell attack against the caster. On a hit, the target takes 3d6 psychic damage. Regardless of whether or not the attack succeeds, bishop only takes half damage from that spell (before applying resistance).
Description
A member of Kane’s Inner Circle, Bishop’s primary role is the development of new weapons for the Armada. The Dragoon and Battle Angel are his greatest triumphs, and he is continually tinkering with the materials to create electrical weapons far more powerful than sparkthrowers – his Galvanic Staff is the most recent prototype.
Bishop’s secondary role is that of strategist: Kane usually prefers to create military strategies personally, but he delegates this role to Bishop when other matters demand his attention. While Rooke is the undisputed tactical general of the Armada, Bishop chooses the primary objectives for a given military campaign, and ensures that the clockwork armies have whatever supplies or forces they need to achieve their ends.
Like all of the Inner Circle, Bishop’s origins remain mysterious. Some say that Bishop, like all of the Inner Circle, was built by the same genius who created Kane. But others theorize that Kane assembled Bishop himself. Nobody has ever asked Bishop directly, and those who speculate about the matter too loudly tend to disappear.
