Shadow Melt. The Roamer melts into a shadowy substance allowing it to move freely without provoking opportunity attacks. This ability recharges after the Roamer deals at least 20 damage.
Multiattack. The Roamer makes two attacks: one with its lunge and one with its claws.
Claws. Melee Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 11 (#1d10 + 3) piercing damage.
Lunge. Melee Attack: +5 to hit, range 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 12 (1d12 + 1) bludgeoning damage. The target must succeed a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be stunned until the start of its next turn.
As a bonus action, the Roamer can melt into its Shadow shape and move up to 10 ft. This ability recharges after the Roamer deals at least 20 damage.
Side Step. When a creature within 5 ft. makes a melee attack, the Roamer jumps sideways 5 ft. on a successful DC 13 Dexterity saving throw without provoking an opportunity attack. On a failure, the Roamer takes an additional half of the damage dealt to it.
Description
The Darkling Roamer is a twisted abomination created by the horrors of the Darkfell. It is shaped by the Shadows themselves, each Roamer taking its own unique shape. The Roamer has two front legs with blade-sharp tips and one back leg. It does not have a mouth, ears, or eyes. Instead it has two gaping holes on its front emitting a purple glow.
