Description

An old cannon cast out of brass mounted upon a wooden cannon yoke with 4 heavy wooden wheels all brought to like by magical means. This construct is curious and playful with a shy demeanor unless frightened or surprised or angered, it often enjoys blasting inanimate objects to smithereens and often makes its home upon ship's taking the place of an existing cannon and quietly dispersing the ruins of the one it replaced; an animated Cannon has no alignment however due to its unpredictable and "playful" nature it often carries the alignment of [chaotic neutral] do it's random willful acts of destruction, however it is not inherently evil or good and does not truly mean any harm by it's actions though a wild animated Cannon can certainly level a small town or possibly accidentally killed or mame it's inhabitants it does not do so intentionally as it's more than likely the nice pristine building that it wishes to "play" it's favorite game with; An Animated Cannon's favorite game is hide and seek however will blast the object you choose to make a hiding place.

Animated Cannons can not communicate verbally or telepathically however understand all languages, and a DC diplomacy check is possible to convince one to stop its playful activities or even side with a lucky adventurer; An Animated Cannon's greatest fear is acid as it is the only way to metal one and will not go near anyone or anything that has it on their person, none know how an Animated Cannon can actually sence this, but some believe to possess a heightened sensitivity to its surroundings.
