Knowledgeable in its field. An awakened book has complete knowledge of whatever is written in it, this includes incorrect information if any as well as scribbles written within the book itself. If this book has two contradicting pieces of information it will lose knowledge of both parts of it.
Levitation. An awakened book has a 5ft flying speed.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d4) bludgeoning damage.
Confusing font. Ranged Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, range 5/40 ft., one target. Hit: 1 psychic damage. On hit target creature must make an intelligence (DC11) check or become confused. Anyone who has fully read and understood the book that has used this is immune to Confusing font effects.
Animate Parchment. This book can set itself on top of a piece of parchment for one minute in order to create an awakened parchment.
Description
awakened books are fairly common in more magic dense areas, often used to help young wizards with spell practice or remembering materials although it is not uncommon for wizards to turn their spellbooks into awakened books for added security.
Lair and Lair Actions
If within an awakened library many books can at once focus confusing font at a specific creature, this does the same thing as Confusing font with the change that you instead take (5d12+10) and the intelligence DC changes to inelegance save (DC 18) you may still void this by knowing and understanding all of the knowledge within all of the books.
