Description
Long ago, the dark god Bane began preparing for an invasion upon the mortal realm. He thought to create an army of muscle and rage, and through their strength, the world would recognize his right to rule. He sought out a perfect warrior for his army, and he chose the minotaur to bear the great honor of his favor.
He collected a tribe of human-eating minotaurs and hid them deep underground. He trained them to fight, and he rewarded the most viscous with strength and size. Over many generations of culling the weak, the descendants became monstrous beings capable of much destruction. Unfortunately for Bane, his forces were destroyed before he could release the Bane Steers, so they wait deep below for a sign to be the warriors they were bred to be.
Bane Steers are similar to their minotaur cousins, but they are the same size and stature of a giant. Their ancestor's fur was burned off by rivers of lava, and only small tufts remain on top of their head and the tips of their tails. Their eyes burn with a deep red glow, and their sharpened teeth are perfect for tearing flesh.
