Traits

Brave. The gladiator has advantage on saving throws against being frightened.

Brute. A melee weapon deals one extra die of its damage when the gladiator hits with it (included in the attack).

Fearmonger. Whenever the Gladiator get's missed by an attack, the attacker must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened. As long as a creature is frightened the Gladiator may cast the spell searing smite as if it were a cantrip. A creature loses the frightened condition if the frightened creature successfully hit or kill the Gladiator, or if they succeed the saving throw.

Unnatural speed: The Gladiator has 2 reactions per round.

Warriors "Honor": the Gladiator will always attack divine casters first (Cleric, Druid, Paladin), but will prioritize any creature that either it has a combative advantage against (not rolling advantage), or will give them a combative advantage if they down them (ex. casters that cast many buffs/debuffs, or cast healing spells, or if they primarily use ranged weapons.)

Actions

Multiattack. The gladiator makes three melee attacks or two ranged attacks.

Spear. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft. and range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) piercing damage, or 13 (2d8 + 4) piercing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack.

Shield Bash. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 9 (2d4 + 4) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Reactions

Parry. The gladiator adds 3 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, the gladiator must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.

Revenge: The Gladiator can make an opportunity attack with disadvantage should a creature creature manage to deal over 20 damage in one attack. This ability cannot activate if 30 damage is done in a single turn however, as the Gladiator becomes slightly dazed, just long enough to lose the opportunity attack.

Description

While most Gladiators fight for the entertainment of others and engage in combat sports, The Blessed of Jade are much different. Having been given mighty power by the Traitorous Champion of the Green Moon, they venture out from the Jade Forest in the Abyss and head to the Material Plane to spread fear and engage in evil acts. They live by a code however, and will only kill members of the church. They do not discriminate beyond that, and will kill young altar children, elderly clergy, and orphans that are simply in the care of a monastery.

Due to their "blessing", they no longer look human, and have a pair of massive, Crystalline horns, six fingers on each hand (the sixth finger are made from Jade Stone), and a pair of crystalline legs that look like they would be difficult to balance on, yet they can walk perfectly fine.
