Traits

Luring Song. The siren sings out a beautiful beckoning call to any creature that can understand it within 50ft. Any creature who can hear the siren must make a DC 15 WIS save. On a success the affected creature is immune to the effects of any siren's song for 24 hours. On a failure the creature is charmed. The affected creature must use all of its movement and ability to move as close to the siren as possible. The charmed creature views the siren as its heart's largest desire and treats any siren as a friendly creature. The creature also sees the siren as a thing of beauty and its paramour. The affected creature can try to overcome the effects at the end of each of its subsequent turns by making another DC 15 WIS saving throw. The effects also ends if the creature is damaged. A creature can't be effected by more than one Luring Song at a time, and if the target resists or breaks free of the charm they are immune to all other Luring Songs for 24 hours.

Siren's Calling. If the Siren hits a creature that is under the affect of its Luring Song, it is considered a critical hit.

Actions

The Siren makes one bite attack and two claw attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) [piecing] damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) [slashing] damage.

Description

A siren typically uses fog or rough weather conditions to conceal itself while it stalks its prey. The saggy leathery skin, protruding jagged teeth, scaly wings, and serpent-like lower half are sure to scare away even the most unwise of sailors. If a siren does get close enough to an unlucky target without scaring them off, it will sing a beautiful melody, charming the creature into believing it is the most beautiful thing they had ever laid their eyes on. The charmed creature feels an overwhelming urge to get as close as possible to its new found paramour but, once it does, it is met with an embrace of razor sharp claws and teeth.
