Blood Drain. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 3 (1d4 + 1) piercing damage, and the Bloodgrub attaches to the target. While attached, the Bloodgrub doesn't attack. Instead, at the start of each of the Bloodgrub's turns, the target loses 3 (1d4 + 1) hit points due to blood loss.

The Bloodgrub can detach itself by spending 5 feet of its movement. It does so after it drains 10 hit points of blood from the target or the target dies. A creature, including the target, can use its action to detach the Bloodgrub.

Description

The Bloodgrub is a vile creature commonly found deep in the thickest swamps, looking much like a regular leech but the size of your average house cat. Drawn to disturbances in the water they will bite on to any creature and drain as much blood as they can before retreating back into the mud they call home.
