Description
An axe beak is a tall flightless bird with strong legs and a heavy, wedge-shaped beak. It has a nasty disposition and tends to attack any unfamiliar creature that wanders too close.
A Facebook post led me here. 100% agree, this is a cassowary.
Such a shame PHB Beastmaster had a size limit. Then you could have just used a beast like this as mount.
Terror Birds, they were Terror Birds, aptly named.
Druid 5hp and backstory means cant fall to 0 hp or Death will claim them
Action: Wild shape, Axe Beak + 19 temp hp
BA: Totem spirit (Circle of the Shepherd) + 7 temp hp
total hp now 31 hp , beefiest memeber of the group then decimates the boss
powerof the Axe Beak
Closest analogue we know about are things like ostrich, rhea, and emu. According to the Safari Ostrich Farm, it takes about 18 months for an ostrich to be a full adult. Can't see any reason really why axe beaks would be much different. Hope that helps!
I
love
these guys
Why do these birds look so much like short moas? All the drawings could just be of a moa(for those who don't know, moas are an extinct species of flightless bird from NZ)(google what they look like, and compare the two)
WTF is this picture...
