Standing Leap. The bulette's long jump is up to 30 feet and its high jump is up to 15 feet, with or without a running start.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (4d12 + 4) piercing damage.
Deadly Leap. If the bulette jumps at least 15 feet as part of its movement, it can then use this action to land on its feet in a space that contains one or more other creatures. Each of those creatures must succeed on a DC 16 Strength or Dexterity saving throw (target's choice) or be knocked prone and take 14 (3d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage plus 14 (3d6 + 4) slashing damage. On a successful save, the creature takes only half the damage, isn't knocked prone, and is pushed 5 feet out of the bulette's space into an unoccupied space of the creature's choice. If no unoccupied space is within range, the creature instead falls prone in the bulette's space.
You are aware on a critical hit, AC doesnt matter right?
I am, and I was then. Good of you to call me out on it 3 years later. 🙄 Thanks for the opportunity to edit misspeaking.
No need to be petty, just making sure a player was aware lol
He should have spelled the name "Bulet" then.
I don't think so, but can this guy burrow through rock or only soil and sand?
are bulette edible?
Why?? Why is it called Land Shark in german?? I couldnt find it for solid 15 min! God damn! Finally This beauty can get my party some shaking kness
Agreed. One could say he should have researched French phonography so that it would look convincing to people who are more familiar with the language.

YOU probably can't, but this guy can.
Unless, of course, you also manage to obtain the blessing of a powerful evil elemental...
If they wanted it to be pronounced as "boo-LAY" with a French spelling, then they should have spelled it "bulet" or "boulet", similar to poulet (the French word for chicken). "Oubliette" isn't pronounced "oo-blee-ay", it's pronounced "oo-blee-ett".
I like roast beef
I hope you don't mind my asking, how do you know this?
I also call them:
Landsharks
Rock-Crocs
Rocodiles
I absolutely do not doubt it, and I get the impression you're speaking from experience?
Nothing like, as a Barbarian, being knocked prone while in a Frenzy.
So… it can bite…OR it can bounce around everywhere squishing everything
