Keen Smell. The badger has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.
Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) piercing damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (2d4 + 1) slashing damage.
But what if I made an animal handling check to tame it at first?
I don’t have a mini my self but i would bet good money that a bear mini painted properly would work

My DM pointed out after session that there is no saving throw for the dig action. So they make good suprise attack animals when you summon them from the bag of tricks.
The digging is a movement type. There's no saving throw for what, them digging under you and you falling in? I'm not making a dig at you or your dm, but that sounds like some homebrew stuff that I wouldn't use. I think using the basic rules, this creature doesn't actually create a tunnel and even if it did, there's no practical way to use it in combat other than leaving pit traps, that I imagine would have a saving throw. It can only dig 10 feet on a turn or 20 if it uses it's action to "dash" (dirt dash?).
.
Someone should do a honey badger variant... Imagine the chaos it would bring. Probably double or even triple the health, AC of 15, same attacks though the bite is 3d6 + 3 and the claws are 2d6 + 3. With the ability to make the opponent go prone on a 14
I use this stat block as a base for my baby Bulette haha
It is sad they don't have honey badgers or Wolverines in official source books. No natural armor for a badger kinda sucks 😮💨
Depending on how you use this beast as a beastmaster, it can become one of the most profitable mining drillinging way. Any gnomish or dwarven beastmaster would like this as their companion.
