Any non-Ankheg creature that starts its turn within 5 feet of the Ankheg Larva or enters the area for the first time must make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of its next turn.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d4) slashing damage. On a hit, the Ankheg Larva sticks to the target creature with its jaw until the target creature uses an action to remove it.
Putrid Death. Upon being reduced to 0 hit point, the Ankheg Larva explodes and any non-Ankheg creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of it must make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of its next turn.
