Traits

Not so Amorphous. The pudding can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing but it must also spend 1 extra foot for every foot it moves there and for each category below its size needed to pass (minimum 5 feet). Its mass is too solid to not slow down it.

Mighty Stench. Any creature other than a blue cheese pudding that starts its turn within 15 feet of the ooze must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of the creature's next turn. On a successful saving throw, the creature is immune to the stench of all blue cheese pudding for 24 hours. While the creature is poisoned it has disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Creatures with advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell have disadvantage in the Constitution saving throw. A creature needs to have a sense of smell in order to be affected.

Actions

Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage plus 18 (4d8) poison damage.

Engulf. The pudding moves up to its speed. While doing so, it can enter creatures' spaces, as long as creature size is equal or smaller than itself. Whenever the pudding enters a creature's space, the creature must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw.

On a successful save, the creature can choose to be pushed 5 feet back or to the side of the pudding. A creature that chooses not to be pushed suffers the consequences of a failed saving throw.

On a failed save, the pudding enters the creature's space, and the creature takes 10 (3d6) poison damage and is engulfed. The engulfed creature can't breathe, is restrained, and takes 21 (6d6) poison damage at the start of each of the pudding's turns. When the pudding moves, the engulfed creature moves with it.

An engulfed creature can try to escape by taking an action to make a DC 16 Strength check. On a success, the creature escapes and enters a space of its choice within 5 feet of the pudding.

Reactions

Split. When a blue cheese pudding that is Medium or larger is subjected to fire or slashing damage, it splits into two new pudding if it has at least 10 hit points. Each new pudding has hit points equal to half the original pudding's, rounded down. New pudding are one size smaller than the original pudding.
