Magic Resistance. The nalfeshnee has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Multiattack. The nalfeshnee uses Horror Nimbus if it can. It then makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 32 (5d10 + 5) piercing damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (3d6 + 5) slashing damage.
Horror Nimbus (Recharge 5–6). The nalfeshnee magically emits scintillating, multicolored light. Each creature within 15 feet of the nalfeshnee that can see the light must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the nalfeshnee's Horror Nimbus for the next 24 hours.
Teleport. The nalfeshnee magically teleports, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 120 feet to an unoccupied space it can see.

I understood that! Yes!
Thumbs Up? Thumbs Down? Thumbs Up? Thumbs Down?
YAY I'm not alone!
I also understand that Puffin Forrest Reference
Puffin forest?
puffin didn't even run it right. it doesn't have resistance to all magic, just saving throws. also he mentioned that it was teleporting often? it takes an action to teleport. also I have NO idea how the part of 8 level 7 characters weren't able to output 360 damage in 10 rounds, which is only 36 dmg per round, between 8 characters. my barbarian averages about 20-30 damage per turn... at level 6. I guess their characters just wasn't very good?
either way I love puffin forest, no hate :)
but i guess they must be healing a lot, so maybe. also my barbarian does have a +2 greataxe... so... ya this guy is getting slaughtered. he might last at most 4 rounds, and I would be very surprised if he lasted that long.
You've got to take into affect that any dibilitating spell they throw out it has advantage on on the saving throw. So most disabling spells are gonna be hard to hit, so raw damage is the way to go. Theirs the catch though, it has resistance to the three primary elements, so casters are gonna have to get creative which spells they use, and all physical damage, so anyone without a magical weapon or a magic weapon buff is also gonna do less. The battle would have to be very well coordinated among 4-6 adventuring party, but 8 yea should have been able to handle it with reletive ease unless they just didn't coordinate at all. But in a situation of the worse possible circumstance where nobody had anything that was magical, and only had cold, lightning, and fire spells. They'd have to dish out on average 40 damage per round, and manage to break through it's high 18 ac, to kill this thing, which is no small feat for a group at 7th level with the worse possible luck and prep. But in the best case scenario, every physical hitter has at least one +1 weapon by now, and your dps casters have something that does force damage at least, or a Psionic, then yea this thing would be pretty cake.
Halfling wizard, Diviner, level 11, with portent dice of 13 and 8, on the wizard's turn he cast banishment, the demon failed it's saving throw (DC 17 Charisma save) the Nalfeshee got a 10 (my 8 + 2 charisma modifier.) No more demon, we went on.
yay im also not alone
Me three!
I love how this entire comments section is just filled with references to that one puffin forest video
He said he would be back with friends in the video. Two of those things could kill the party. The reason the party could not kill it was because it was immune to the three important aspects of magic. They would have died if they did not have healing magic.
puffin forest yes
Wow. So many people watched that video, just like me!
Yes, but how do you KILL IT?
Me Four!
"What's this?" Slaughtertusk utters as the ambrosial sweetness of perspiration draws his attention towards the party. "You will make a delectable treat. Especially this one." Slaughtertusk eyes the portly monk up and down, cracking a menacing smile.
