Undead Fortitude. If damage reduces the zombie to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant or from a critical hit. On a success, the zombie drops to 1 hit point instead.

Shrek what happened?
id argue tht the fire damage yes negates it, but if u run homebrew burning conditions, then theres no need, as its a crazy fun event running from a flaming zombie thats constantly almost dying until it finally fails the save it makes each turn as it burns. and i think thats hilarious
no such thing, its accurate to what it should be. if u want it to be weaker make it dumber. zombies haver high hp, thats their thing, the challenge is how to hit it a bunch without getting hit. and the DM can make any encounter incredibly easy or incredibly hard just by how they play it. and so can YOU!
oh no
actually if you make this a low stakes goofy encounter you could have the dumb zombies hitting eachother. so for a stealthy/dexterous group that would be a brilliant en counter, running between their legs, tricking them into knocking eachother out like the trolls in the hobbit
is it not also a reskin of a hulking zombie? i dont know if there already is one in dnd but there was in 4e when i played
Come on the regular ogre has more attacks than this guy.
