If you were to make an owlbear baby, nerf all of its stats and buff its charisma score so it can be cute and give it a charm person action
If you did that, you'd run into the same reason people have so many cats. (It's because kittens are SSSOOOOOOO CCCCCCCCUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTEEEEEEE!!!) People would breed Owlbears just for the babies. (I couldn't find a way to type it the way Zefrank1 says in his YouTube videos. Check him out.)
