Keen Smell. The panther has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.
Pounce. If the panther moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the panther can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.
Actions
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) slashing damage.

On your character sheet, go to the “Extra” tab and open it. Then tap the “Manage Extras” button. You will have several options to a creature to your character sheet, it just depends how you get the creature. (Ex. Wild Shape, Animal Companion, Polymorph, etc.)
I'm a Wood Elf Druid and I turn into a Panther. Also I'm on my dad's account.
Panthers r kool
spooky big kitty
under the extras category select the dropdown for beast companion, d&d will calculate it's hitpoints and add your proficiency, stuff like that
Fun pet for rangers that like ambushes and sneak attacks.
Me like
Mine is named Meatball
i come from the future with good news
Meatball is beautiful name, @fairfaxians
Actually Panthers are big cats or cats that roar and don't purr so lions tigers and Jaguars. But in this case they are obviously representing a mountain lion witch isn't even a big cat so they aren't even giving us a panther really
Noticed the stat block has a +6 Stealth but that doesn't match the Dex + Prof. Also when you use this as a wild shape it doesn't keep the higher +6 but reverts to the proper +4. Is this is how it should be or a mistake in Beyond?
good kitty
i have one and they are not bad and i can speak to them and it is so fun
Why is dnd so lazy. I am guessing that this refers to jaguars cougars and leopards. But there are big differences between these species. And cougars aren't Panthera there felines. Panthera is cats that roar and felines purr. Cougars sound like woman screaming
