Traits
Charge. If the rhinoceros moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a gore attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 9 (2d8) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Actions
Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage.
My Friend mounted this rhino i summoned to charge into battle on its back to gore a giant wendigo
That ac is low. These things are damn near bullet proof and light on their feet. They should have at least an 18 ac. I agree with everything else. Looks like i gotta get plate barding lol
Rhinoceros
An AC of 12 makes sense. It would be 13, but for the negative 1 from DEX penalty. An AC of 12 puts it as equivalent to the lion or the reef shark.
As for the Gore attack being bludgeoning damage, I would guess that's because rhino horns are not particularly sharp.
A 14th level Paladin get access to this animal as a mount but a 10th level bard can also cast this spell if they choose it for a magical secret
this is the stupidest stat block, why does 5e try so hard to make all their animals the same? Why does is have WIS? no disadvantage on perceptions? AC 11? this is hilarious
Yes... lol
I'm a rhinosaurus!
Rhinos are so cool. That's all.
I named my Rhino Hank
