Description
Tales speak of that the Beast of Gévaudan was once a great hunter who had tracked a Dire Wolf into the Feywild, and as the hunter was about to fire his arrow, Marduk God of the Wilds, merged the two into one. The animal, having lost its previous self turned as wild and violent as the storms. Marduk placed a curse on the beast for it to devour those it had once called kin, and every few generations it returns to the village the hunter once called home. Hundreds of gruesome killing have been attributed to it over the years, though most pass it off as a fairy tale to keep children from venturing too deep into the forest near the village. However, there are a few who have claim to have seen such a monster. They claim the beast stands 6 feet tall at its shoulder and roughly 18 feet in length. Its eyes red as a blood moon, and fangs like daggers. Its fur black as the predawn night and a strong smell of blood whenever it approaches.
