It doesn't list a swimming speed but tigers IRL are very good swimmers. If it comes up you could probably discuss with your DM to make use of their powerful swimming if shapeshifting into or conjuring tigers.

If Panthers get a climbing speed, tigers should get swimming speed
Tigers not having a swim speed allows moon druids to wildshape into them at level 2.

Being able to shapeshift into a tiger at level 2 may be nice but lions are perfectly reasonable swap without swim speed.
Food is usually a good place to start, perhaps some Animal Handling checks, maybe a few more for some Training.
Haha the tiger im trying to tame rn does not want food. Any other suggestions?

Uight have to be a beastmaster ranger to have a pet tiger but it may be possible otherwise
Depends on your dm really on some of my campaigns I don’t let my players tame at all and others I might make them feed it then make a number of animal handling checks based on how strong it was. I’m only 16 though so their may be some rule I don’t know of that gives a definitive way to tame.

"Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) piercing damage" means that if the bite attack hits, it does 1d10 + 3 piercing damage, or 8 piercing damage if you don't want to roll the die. (The average result for 1d10 + 3 is 8.5, and the average damage for the claw attack, which is 1d8 + 3, is 7.5, but they rounded down because you can't do half a point of damage).

A giant Tiger would make a great mount for a fighter!
Tiger is already a large beast. Large is enough for a medium creature to ride it. Gonna ask my dm to get one as mount for my pala with find steed.
Be careful with trying to add realism to DnD as it is a complicated rabbit hole to invite all sorts of homebrew. From a balance standpoint, merfolk have a swim speed of 40 ft. They are a race that live in the water and I would argue from a balance standpoint that they should be able to swim faster then a tiger. Also, be aware that giving a tiger swim speed will allow it great flexibility for swimming underwater with ease, holding their breath for long periods of time (3 minutes, or 18 rounds) before they even start drowning. I don't know how fast tigers may swim on the surface, but by giving them swimming speed will allow them to maneuver in the water like a swim for sustained periods of time without slowing or showing any signs of fatigue.
To throw in more realism, 5e treats underwater combat like water is air, being able to fire arrows and swing swords and crush with maces without taking into account friction and resistance. There is a reason merfolk are often shown with spears or tridents, as stabbing weapons go through water more quickly. Combine that with the fact that a character in heavy armor doesn't sink like a stone...
Sometimes it is better to follow rules as written before you jump down the whole IRL argument. Your DM has to keep track of enough stuff. If your DM states that water is difficult terrain, a tiger will still be able to catch up with most PCs in the water unless they are a high lvl monk or have the mobility feat as the tiger's base movement speed is 40 ft.
