Traits

Psychic Absorption. Whenever the banana colossus is subjected to psychic damage, it takes no damage and instead regains a number of hit points equal to the psychic damage dealt.

Immutable Form. The banana colossus is resistant to any spell or effect that would alter its form.

Magic Resistance. The banana colossus has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Magic Weapons. The banana colossus' weapon attacks are magical.

Grappling Repercussions. The attempt to grapple the banana colossus is a foolish one, not only because it's essentially impossible due it's flexible structure, but because if the grappler were to succeed in it's initial attack all the grappler would come away with is a hand full of Banana Golems who would then decide to detonate themselves in a small explosion dealing 1d4 force damage and knocking the grappler prone if they fail a reflex save (DC 17).

Actions

Multiattack. The banana colossus makes two potassium punch attacks.

Potassium Punch. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 4) bludgeoning damage. Being a construct made of interlocking other constructs it can extend it's reach by adjusting it's structure and be flexible enough to ignore half-cover completely.

Banana Bombardment (Recharge 5–6). Area Attack: +3 to hit, radius of 20 ft., multiple targets. The Banana Colossus launches chunks of it's mass at all creatures of it's choice within a 20 ft radius of itself, dealing 1d4 damage to itself, but Hit:10 (2d6+3) force damage to each target. On a hit, the banana chunks it launched explode violently, coating the target's location and every surface in a 5ft radius in slippery potassium goo, making it difficult terrain to all but the Banana Colossus itself.

Reactions

Collective Parting Gift: Area Attack: +3 to hit, reach 30 ft radius, all targets within area of effect. Hit: 10 (2d6+3) force damage. If the banana colossus reaches 0 hit points on any given turn, it can use it's reaction to spontaneously have every banana golem it's constructed of explode simultaneously. This destroys the banana colossus and coats the area it occupied and every surface around it in potassium rich goo, making it difficult terrain.

Description

The Banana Colossus is essentially a construct made of smaller, weaker, and generally fairly disposable constructs known as Banana Golems. As an attacker, a single Banana Golem is little more than an irritation, being little more than average size produce granted arms and legs. If it's creator is clever and has enough of them, he/she can sync them up to form an actual threat.

Elemental Spirit in Material Form. The construction of a golem begins with the building of its body, requiring great command of the craft of sculpting, stonecutting, ironworking, or surgery. Sometimes a golem’s creator is the master of the art, but often the individual who desires a golem must enlist master artisans to do the work.

After constructing the body from clay, flesh, iron, or stone, the golem’s creator infuses it with a spirit from the Elemental Plane of Earth. This tiny spark of life has no memory, personality, or history. It is simply the impetus to move and obey. This process binds the spirit to the artificial body and subjects it to the will of the golem’s creator.

Ageless Guardians. Golems can guard sacred sites, tombs, and treasure vaults long after the deaths of their creators, carrying out their appointed tasks for all eternity while brushing off physical damage and ignoring all but the most potent spells.

A golems can be created with a special amulet or other item that allows the possessor of the item to control the golem. Golems whose creators are long dead can thus be harnessed to serve a new master.

Blind Obedience. When its creator or possessor is on hand to command it, a golem performs flawlessly. If the golem is left without instructions or is incapacitated, it continues to follow its last orders to the best of its ability. When it can’t fulfill its orders, a golem might react violently — or stand and do nothing. A golem that has been given conflicting orders sometimes alternates between them.

A golem can’t think or act for itself. Though it understands its commands perfectly, it has no grasp of language beyond that understanding, and can’t be reasoned with or tricked with words.

Constructed Nature. A golem doesn’t require air, food, drink, or sleep.
