Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (5d6 + 4) slashing damage.
Spell Reflection. If the Avem makes a successful saving throw against a spell, or a spell attack misses it, Avem can choose another creature (including the spellcaster) it can see within 30 feet of it. The spell targets the chosen creature instead of Avem. If the spell forced a saving throw, the chosen creature makes its own save. If the spell was an attack, the attack roll is rerolled against the chosen creature.
Description
Avem at first glance appears to be just a normal giant bird however when you look closer it appears to be even more frightful. He is a mix of several birds ranging from crow to vulture. What's scariest of all is Avems eyes or rather lack of them, even though it has no eyes it can still see almost flawlessly.
