General info

Batfolk resembles that of a small goblin in the form of a bat oddly enough. They usually stand at the height of 1ft. to the max of 2ft. considering them tiny creatures.
These small creatures are pack animals and live in groups of 20 to the max of 45, after either of these numbers are hit the pack may splinter as half of the pack leaves to find a new home together. Batfolk live for up to 5 years and are considered adults at age one year, elders are titled at age three.

Despite the pack nature of Batfolk these tiny creatures may end up alone in caves either abandoned or exiled or even forgotten. Most Batfolk are unaware of this fact and seem rather gleeful to be alone. This brings up the good point of the Batfolks psychology.

PHYSIOLOGY

Batfolk are extremely happy creatures, they are also not intelligent yet intelligent enough to understand languages they have heard or have been taught.  Due to this a lot of Batfolk have been deceived into believing a taller being such as a human or even goblins are a form of diety/ and or parental figure for them to follow. Batfolk are especially susceptible to this if they are alone.

Batfolk have unique bodies, having their arms be that thin have wings that can be used to fly gracefully, and small hands to grip onto bugs (Batfolks usual cuisine) However batfolk are also known to grab onto anything they may find soft or squishy or just fun to hold. Batfolk also have a foot that is able to grab and climb almost any rough surface they are such talented climbers they may even hold onto a ceiling with a single foot, in retrospect their feet are abnormally large and are about twice the size of their head on average. Batfolk also are known carnivores eating that of insect meat, however, they may be inclined to eat anything if told it would be quote: "Yummy". The mouth of these creatures is slightly terrifying, when closed the creature looks that of a regular bat with a small mouth, even to when they speak their mouth is not fully agape, However, when a batfolk chooses to smile or just show their teeth they are almost able to stretch their lips to their ears as the upper lip folds showing a devious smile and the extremely sharp teeth of the batfolk able to remove multiple fingers. Despite their possible strengths, the batfolk are extremely docile and even friendly, they are known to welcome travelers of all walks of life and consider them family almost instantly.
