Soulforged. Wardrakes regain 2d6 hit points at the beginning of their turn.
Drone Deployer. A Wardrake can act as a controller and storage hub for up to twenty-four Anfangs at ay given time.
Blitzkrieg. The Wardrake charges in a straight line up to double it's speed. Every Medium or smaller target within it's path must make a DC 17 Strength or Dexterity saving throw, or be pushed 10 feet to the side, knocked prone, and take 2d10 magical bludgeoning damage. Inanimate objects automatically fail this saving throw, and take double damage. If the Wardrake hits a Large or larger target and does not reduce it's HP to 0, the charge immediately ends. The Wardrake may not take a Move action in the same turn it uses this action.
Multiattack. The Wardrake makes three attacks: one with Mutilating Maul, and two with it's Soul Steel Claws.
Mutilating Maul. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (4d6 + 4) magical piercing damage. Target must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or suffer a terrible wound, taking 2d6 magical piercing damage at the beginning of each of their turns. Each turn they may repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on a success.
Soul Steel Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d8 + 4) magical slashing damage.
Mana Breath (Recharge 6). The wardrake exhales raw mana in a 30 ft. cone. Each creature in that cone must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 40 (8d10) force damage on a failed save, or half a much on a successful one.
Photon Wings. The wardrake fires six energy rays from the tips of it's wings. Each ray hits a creature of it's choice that the wardrake can see within 240 ft. of itself. A ray deals 6 force damage to it's target. The rays all strike simultaneously, and the wardrake can direct them to hit one creature or several. Each creature hit must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw per hit taken. On a failure, the creature is blinded and deafened until the end of that creature's next turn.
Deploy Anfangs. The Wardrake deploys up to six Anfangs from it's scales. A Wardrake may only perform this action four times per encounter.
Tail Rebuke. As a reaction when the Wardrake is hit by a melee attack, it swipes with it's tail in a 15 ft. cone towards the target that hit it. The attacker and all other creatures within this cone must make a DC 17 Dexterity or Strength saving throw, taking 7 (1d6+4) magical bludgeoning damage, being pushed 5 ft. back, and knocked prone on a failure.
Description
A large artificial guard drake, created to be the vanguard of an invasion army and a weapon of oppression by an ancient empire. Intelligent, unbelievably durable, and utterly devoid of remorse or emotion, it is a perfected killing machine.
