Innate Spellcasting. The warlock’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma. It can innately cast the following spells (spell save DC 15), requiring no material components:
At will: alter self, false life, mage armor (self only), speak with animals, speak with dead
1/day each: circle of death, feeblemind, finger of death, plane shift, power word kill
Spellcasting. The warlock is a 17th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). It regains its expended spell slots when it finishes a short or long rest. It knows the following warlock spells:
Cantrips (at will): chill touch, eldritch blast, mage hand, minor illusion
1st–5th level (4 5th-level slots): blight, commune, cone of cold, feign death, ice storm, locate creature, sanctuary, silence, spiritual weapon, vampiric touch
Sentinel Raven. The warlock has the service of a spirit sent by the Raven Queen to watch over it. The spirit assumes the form and game statistics of a raven, and it always obeys the warlock's commands, which it can give telepathically while it is within 100 feet of the warlock. While the raven is perched on the warlock's shoulder, the warlock gains an additional +3 to its passive Wisdom (Perception) score and to Wisdom (Perception) checks. Additionally, when perched on the shoulder, the raven can’t be targeted by any attack or other harmful effect; only the warlock can cast spells on it; it can’t take damage; and it is incapacitated.
The warlock can see through the raven’s eyes and hear what it hears while it is within 100 feet. If the spirit is slain by a creature, the warlock gains advantage on all attack rolls against the killer for the next 24 hours. The raven doesn’t require sleep. The raven vanishes when it dies, if the warlock dies, or if the two are separated by more than 5 miles. Once per day, the warlock can call the raven back to it—no matter where it is or whether it died—and it reappears within 5 feet of the summoner.
Raven's Shield. The Raven Queen grants the warlock a protective blessing. It gains advantage on death saving throws.
Mace. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d6) bludgeoning damage plus 10 (3d6) necrotic damage.
Detach from Raven. If merged with the sentinel raven, the warlock returns to normal and separates from it.
Awaken. While it is within 100 feet of the warlock, the sentinel raven can awaken the warlock from sleep.
Soul of the Raven. The warlock's body merges with the raven's form. While merged, the warlock becomes Tiny, has its speed replaced with the raven's, and it can use its action only to Dash, Disengage, Dodge, Help, Hide, or Search. During this time, the warlock gains the benefits of the raven being perched on its shoulder.
Description
Warlocks sworn to the Raven Queen receive visions and whispers from her in their dreams, sending them on quests and warning them of impending dangers. Amongst shadar-kai of the Shadowfell, most, but not all, follow the path of the gloom weaver.
The Raven Queen’s followers are expected to serve her will in the world. She concerns herself with ensuring that those fated to die pass from the world as expected, and bids her agents to defeat those who seek to cheat death through undeath or other imitations of immortality. She hates intelligent undead and expects her followers to strike them down, whereas mindless undead such as skeletons and zombies are little more than stumbling automatons in her eyes.
