Bringer of Death. Death doesn't roll its necrotic damage, instead it always deals maximum damage.

Death innately casts spells and requires no spell slots and material components, and casts all of its spells as level 9 spells, and has following spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): Toll the Dead, Chill Touch, Prestidigitation, Thaumaturgy
Spells (at will): Inflict Wounds, Vampiric Touch, Circle of Death, Finger of Death, Time Ravage, Create Undead, Power Word Kill, Soul Cage

Divine Awareness. Death knows if it hears a lie.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Death fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Magic Resistance. Death has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Actions

Reaper's Scythe Attack. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 18 (2d12 + 4) necrotic damage. If the target is a creature with under 200 hp, it must make a DC 20 con save, or instantly die.

Frightful Presence. Each creature of Death's choice that is within 120 feet of the Death and aware of it must succeed on a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Death's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.

Description

Death is portrayed as a feminine angel, with long black hair, pitch black wings, and twisted Scythe in its hand. Its eyes are completely black, like the void itself, inspiring fear into all that gaze upon it. Death's skin itself is however completely pale. It wears black half plate and chain armor, with a hood on its head.

Death itself is rarely ever met. It has its reapers to do the bulk of the work, but it is destined to come down from the upper planes once the gods demand the material plane to be cleansed.
