Description

Warforged soldiers are humanoids formed from wood and steel, then magically imbued with life and sentience. The warforged were created to fight in the Last War, and in the aftermath of that conflict, they struggle to understand their place in the world.

Of the most common warforged variants, type C warforged experience the most difficulty integrating into civilian life due to their massive size. Employers often exploit their prowess by pressing them into poorly-paid manual labor or bodyguard positions, using their bulk to ill advantage. Some of these individuals revel in their unique stature, and hone their martial abilities to become dangerous even when completely unarmed. These pugilists are colloquially known as Haymakers in the towers of Sharn, and their talents at brawling are highly sought after by Dragonmarked houses and street gangs alike.
